When the editor of an anthology of poetry, a friend of my parents, inscribed a copy to me when I was a child, she wrote:

"[Student], when you read this book
Think what centuries it took
For this inheritance to grow
To now, from then, from Long Ago.
Remember as you turn the pages,
You are the heir of all the ages!"

No one should mess with my inheritance!

Thanks for speaking out, Angela. I particularly appreciate your "tit-for-tat" suggestion; what a wonderful response!

Wow!! Will you marry me?

“born again in the stagnate waters of vainglorious superiority, carved anew from the petrified rock of pseudo-enlightenment?”

You sure have a wonderful way with words Miss Angela. This piece really strikes a cord, I feel so strongly about free speech it almost makes me want to cry sometimes when people just don’t get it. It is so fundamental to our humanity. It is the beginning and end of all freedoms.

These are important words. I hope everyone that reads your alarm, because it actually is an alarm, takes notice and does something other than scooping up a twinky or rolling over and scratching an itch.

Thanks,
